Product Description
Antique White is one of Mikasa’s best selling transitional china patterns. Dresses up or down in any entertaining setting, and is perfect for everyday use.Amazon.com Review
Perfect for breakfast fruit or after-dinner sorbet, this versatile set of four petite fruit saucers will be pulled out again and again. Designed by Mikasa and part of the Antique White dinnerware line, these charming dishes fit somewhere between a bowl and a plate. With a depth measuring 1-1/4 inches, the dish can cradle soupier contents such as ice cream or pudding and can even handle small portions of cereal or stew. Made of strong fine china, the all-white dishes are chip-resistant and carry a subtly scalloped edge around its opening. Following this wavy outline are a series of small ridges that combine to form a flower-like shape around the perimeter. Attractive, yet subtle enough to work with any dinnerware, these bowls can be used on their own or set with other pieces from the same collection for a coordinated look. Microwave-, freezer-, and oven-safe construction accommodates every kitchen convenience and clean-up is effortless thanks to its dishwasher-safe material. – Amy Arnold

I have almost all of the Mikasa Antique White pieces and I wanted these for my kids to use for cereal or snacks. They are too small to really use for anything. They are supposed to be fruit bowls, but you would be lucky to fit in 4-5 strawberries. They are pretty and of a good quality like the rest of the pieces in this set. That is the only reason I gave 3 stars.

I was looking for everyday dishes that could double for formal meals as well, and Misaka HK 400 Antique White fit the bill. I love these dishes. They are strong, fine pocelain. They do not chip and are oven and microwave safe.

These little bowls nest perfectly. They hold 2/3 cup liquid in the bowl portion (up to the edge). I’m using them for fruit (of course) and for ice cream. Two average scoops look quite generous.
